Nijisha, an alumnus of National University of Advanced Legal Studies, joined Legacy Partners in the year 2018. Nijisha now works as a Manager at Legacy Partners. She has 4 plus years’ experience in handling IP matters. Her area of expertise includes management and handling trademark, Designs, Copyright and Patent prosecution in India, including attending to office actions, hearings and other adversarial proceedings. Apart from her experience in IP matters, Nijisha has previously worked as an Assistant Professor (Law), which has added to her skills and her experience as a faculty is being used by the firm to conduct IP awareness sessions and webinars. Nijisha, passionately represents client interests, working carefully to examine case merits, limit risk, and promote good outcomes in difficult legal situations. She has counselled clients on Intellectual Property administration, protection, enforcement, and commercialization. She also has expertise in formulating and negotiating IP arrangements in commercial transactions. Apart from IP, Nijisha also handles commercial drafting and vetting of commercial contracts.
